Founded in 1993 as Avalon Building Company, LLC, the company’s name changed to Avalon Building Corporation as part of the company’s evolution into a premier builder on the Front Range. Avalon Building Corporation provides among the highest quality general contracting, development and construction management services in the industry. The Company is dedicated to meeting the needs and desires of the client, in a timely and professional manner.

Avalon builds custom homes and semi-custom homes for the discerning customer. Avalon has also been responsible for building various commercial and residential structures including office buildings, townhomes, condominiums, warehouse buildings, mini-storage projects, maintenance buildings, recreation centers, restaurants, nursing homes and other commercial buildings. Finally, Avalon does site preparation and grading, underground utility installation and site development.

Through its in-house professional staff and network of design and construction professionals, from architects, engineers, attorneys, land use professionals, project superintendents and construction managers, Avalon truly provides a complete range of construction and development services.

Dan W. Herman, the owner and President of the Avalon, carries an “A” Unlimited License in El Paso, Teller, Douglas, Elbert and Kiowa Counties. Obtaining licenses in other counties can be accomplished when necessary. Mr. Herman has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry. This combination of experience and licenses enable Avalon to stay diversified and complete virtually any construction project.
